I hope your excited… I am… Really excited… like off the chain excited. The most illustrious event that is Initiation Weekend is begining on Saturday at 8:30am so get ready to rumbel!
At 8:30am we will be meeting in the UCSA car park (just outside the entrance… near the foundry) . From there we will meet everyone and you will drive or be driven for about 1hr 45mins toward the west and finally stop at the fully heated Temple Basin Goodslift. Once there drop your stuff off you don’t want to walk up the hill (read: everything except a water bottle). Your “goods” will be whisked up the hill in luxury whilst you start a slogging for about 45mins upto the lodges.
Once at the lodges we may do a little bit of painting if anyones keen. Otherwise we will get on the turps and get frigin smashed for the next 8 hours with exciting events such as the beer olympics, table climbing, and quarters. On Sunday morning we may go for a walk around the hill and point out some features that will soon be covered in snow. Then shoot home in time for dinner on Sunday night.
Remember to bring some essential Items.
- Booze. Theres a free keg which will run out, so remember to take some goon or beers
- Sleeping bag.
- Tramping boots or good walking shoes
- Nice warm clothes (poly’s and a rain jacket are a must). Even though the weather looks mint.
- Your bad-ass self.
Anyone that wants to join the club (bring all your flatmates and family and facebook friends) can join on Saturday morning so just turn up at 8:30. The costing will be $15Â for food , and what ever your driver charges you for gas (~$15). Thats a pready mint weekend for about $30!!!
Just make sure you e-mail Brad if you want to come and haven’t told him yet via e-mail. We need the numbers for food.
