FYI, the total for the storm from the 12th until today totalled just a few short of 230cm. We now have a base of 200cm at the bottom, and easily 300 in many of the loaded places up top. The snow averaged about 10% water, which translates to super light, dry, fluffy Canadian style pow, as you can see from some of the photos, you sink up to your eyeballs in this stuff (yes Mike IS wearing his skis in that photo (!!)). It is off the fucking hook. It has snowed so much we haven’t even been to Downhill since the storm came in, and haven’t done bugger all control work because the snow just kept on coming so there was no point. Now that we have a clearing we will be working our asses off and this place will be absolutely honking by the time you guys come up for ski week. And there is also another storm forecast to hit us late this week, and we are going to get absolutely nailed by it, by the looks of things, so there will be more freshies for you guys by then too.
