March 6-7: Initiation Weekend Work Party – A party/work weekend where we do some work on the ski field for the season and get lift pass tickets for your time; a great weekend to meet the new members and party at 1300meters
March 11: Foo Sans Dinner - Come along for dinner with other like minded skiers and boarders, eat from the renowned student friendly establishment and bring your own booze (you can even bring a keg!).
March 16: Annual General Meeting - Come along to see what’s happening and have a beer with us! Join the 2009 committee if you’re keen to help out this year.
April – June: Other work parties - More chances to help out on the mountain and get more lift pass tickets. A good opportunity for any one keen to get more involved with the ski industry.
May 13: Party Bus Trip – Experience the outlying bar life of Christchurch on this party bus trip while meeting new people
June 5-7: Queen’s Birthday Work Party – Another huge party/work weekend where we set up the ski field for the season (in exchange for free skiing of course). One of the biggest party’s of the year!
July 10-11: Learners’ Weekend – A new event this year where more experience skiers and boarders will be there to help people with the basics and how to use the nutcracker tows.
July 24-25: 80′s Party Weekend – Start the ski season in style by dressing in your retro one-piece suit/bright fluoros for an impressive weekend at Temple Basin.
August 7-8: Kingswood Fire and Ice weekend – A huge party on the mountain, with a DJ or band, fire juggling, a bonfire and to top it off, night skiing! All while drinking your favourite drop  (goon).
August 21-22: Gnomes Freeride Weekend – Big mountain competition involving Canterbury, Lincoln and Otago students.
August 22-28 & August 29-September 4: Ski weeks – In the university holidays we offer a super cheap week package at Temple, $475 for a whole week in the snow (lift passes, food, accommodation). Huge amounts of snow and partying for a low price!
September 11-12: Clubs Weekend – A weekend on the slopes, with competition for the club ski trophies and the usual socialising and night skiing.
October: End of Season Jib – Great way to wrap up the ski season by showing off your newly learnt skills on the box, in front of your newly found ski mates, all while having a great party.
